Information

The building has two names - the more popularised one, "Młotek", after its interesting shape, resembling the tool and "Puma", after the foreigners service office of the same name operating in it for some time after it was built. It was supposed to be a hotel for people from Polonia (Polish community abroad) visiting the Polish People’s Republic but was quickly transformed into a residential building due to the need for housing. Młotek was first planned in 1964 and finished being built in 1976, its parameters are not so impressive compared to Falowiec - 140 flats and 19 meters tall.

*There was a club called “Top Floor” on the top floor. It was supposed to be closed down in 2006, but the owners informed that the club will then operate illegally. It was only after a couple months when the local authorities managed to close it down
